A loan of $750 helped to buy pigs to sell.

Juan Carlos's story

Juan Carlos is a 23-year-old man who doesn't have his own family. He lives in a family home which is located in CP Salitral in the district of Motupe. He lives in the rural part of the district but has basic services like water and electric light in his home.

Juan Carlos raises and sells pigs for a living. He's been doing this in his home for 5 years now and learned this trade from his father because of which he has a lot of experience and knows the area well. They have an established clientele in the area because of the quality of and effort in what they do.

The total of the requested loan is 2000 nuevos soles and they will be used to buy more pigs to sell. In this way he will be able to have a greater income for his home and thus improve his quality of life. In this area there is no greater competition since Juan Carlos has an established clientele.
