For three years, they have been selling women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, and cosmetic products. With the revenues derived from their business, they provide for their personal needs and also manage to help their respective husbands with household expenses. In order to bolster their work capital, the group members are seeking a loan of 500,000 West African francs to buy women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, and cosmetic products. The group’s goal is to expand its business activities.

Le groupement "BOOK KHOOLE 1" qui signifie "coeurs unis" est constituée de cinq femmes toutes mariées.Depuis trois ans, elles exercent dans le commerce de vêtements pour femmes et enfants, de chaussures et de produits cosmétiques.Avec les revenus tirés de ce commerce, elles prennnent en charge leurs propres besoins et parviennent aussi à soutenir leurs maris dans les dépenses d'entretien de leurs familles respectives.Afin de renforcer leurs fonds de commerce, les femmes sollicitent un pret de 500000f pour acheter des vêtements, des chaussures et des produits cosmétiques.Le groupe ambitionne d'élargir ses activités.

This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008. UIMCEC is a government-regulated microfinance institution whose mission is to improve the revenue and well-being of families through access to financial services, allowing principally women and young adult micro-entrepreneurs living in rural and semi-rural areas to develop their revenue-generating businesses and supporting them in becoming financially self-sufficient.
