A loan of $600 helped to purchase three truckloads of firewood and paper, wire, dye, and glue.

Maria De La Paz's story

Maria lives with her daughter and three grandchildren. She sells firewood, water, and piñatas. Her aunt taught her to be a saleswoman. She also learned to make flowers. She started her firewood business on her own eight years ago. She works from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
She is requesting a loan to purchase three truckloads of firewood and materials to make piñatas, like paper, wire, dye, and glue. These items are necessary for her business to have continuity. With this loan, she hopes to earn more income to provide for her family.
Maria’s hope is to have a debt-free business so that she can earn more income.
