A loan of $775 helped to buy basic staples for her business.

Reyna Isabel's story

Reyna is a woman passionate about her work, as she has been selling food as a street vendor for 14 years. She is grateful to God, and also to the microfinance institution, as this is her main livelihood. She assures us that even as a single mother, she is the mainstay for raising her three children. At the moment, her concern is to keep reinvesting in her business, with the aim of offering her customers a more varied menu and increasing her earnings. In this way she will achieve a greater degree of customer loyalty, and stability in the market to which she is directing her efforts. For this reason, she will need to undertake the purchase of basic staples such as rice, beans, cooking oil, sugar, flour, corn, and other products. In the future, she hopes to have the financial resources to manage to build her home and install indoor plumbing; this way achieving better conditions for her family.
