Manuel de Jesús lives in his own house with his two siblings; one of them goes to school.

Manuel Jesús has been selling fruit and vegetables for many years. He has very good personal references because, in time, he has known how to gain the confidence of his customers. More people prefer his business each day. He has struggled for a long time in order to get his family ahead. That is to say that he struggles in order to give them a different quality of life. They now have very humble living conditions, and each day their needs are greater.

His family is his main source of inspiration, which drives him to continue working hard in order to bring home the daily bread.

As a good entrepreneur, he has made the decision to request this loan from INTEGRAL. He will invest in his business in order to stock it and increase his supply. This will allow him to have a better quality of life for himself and for his family. He will use the loan to buy fruit and vegetables wholesale.

He hopes and trusts that the results will be satisfactory and that he will be able to fulfill the dream of his life. It should be mentioned that he is very grateful to this institution because in the past they gave him a hand when he needed a loan. He hopes it will be that way on this occasion.

Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. This means that our Field Partners are able to post a borrower's second, third, etc., loan on Kiva without having to re-enter all of the borrower's information.

This borrower has been listed on Kiva before, so you'll see an updated loan description, as well as excerpts of the original descriptions from earlier loans. Most borrowers take out loans consecutively, meaning that they receive a second loan after having repaid the first. However, sometimes our Field Partners give out concurrent loans, allowing borrowers to take out one primary loan and a secondary "add-on" loan along with it. These "add-on" loans are typically smaller than the borrower's primary loan and serve a different purpose. Because Field Partners can now post loans as successive and concurrent loans, you will be able to track borrower progress over time and see the various ways a borrower is working with our Field Partners through funds from Kiva’s lenders.
