Mahudjro Group's story

The group MAHUDJRO is composed of five persons who reside in the same district. This is the fifth time this group has requested financial aid from ALIDé for boosting their business. The group's representative, Maïmounath, is the one in the photo with her hand raised. She is 30 years old and lives in Benin. Maïmounath halted her studies in primary school. She is married to a retailer named Florent and is the mother of three children, all in school. She lives together with her husband and children. The couple jointly ensure the family expenses are covered.

To help with the diverse family expenses, Maïmounath has been selling clothing and kitchen utensils for six years via the distribution system. She gets her supplies in Benin.

Seeking to satisfy her customers and to increase her sales and revenues, Maïmounath is requesting, along with the other members of the group MAHUDJRO, a fifth loan from ALIDé. The previous loan were indeed paid back.
