A loan of $1,725 helped a member to increase her capital by buying additional goats and selling their meat in order to earn more money.

Twubake Ii Group's story

Pascasie is a member of the Twubake II group. She lives in Bujumbura and is 30 years old. She is married to Viator, who sells drinks in a cafe. They have a two-year-old son. Pascasie has five people living in her care, three of whom are in school.

She has been selling goat kebabs for the past two years.

This is her second loan through Turame. With the KIVA loan that she receives, she will increase her capital by buying additional goats so that she can sell more kebabs in order to earn more money.

In the coming years, she would like to receive a bigger loan to expand her business and build a beautiful house to live in.
