Serakazi Group's story

Melkiory, who is in his mid 30s, is married. He has been running a genge duka (selling sugar, beans, wheat flour, salt, cigarettes, sweets, tomatoes, bananas, oranges, avocados, Irish potatoes, etc) since 1998. He works from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Melkiory's 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy stocks of missing items. He has paid back all his loans successfully. He wants a loan to increase on his business stock. His dream is to one day be able to own a supermarket.

Melkiory will share this loan with his loan group "Serakazi," which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
