A loan of $1,700 helped a member to buy chemical fertilizer and pay the workers who will cultivate her fields.

Icyizere Cyejoheza/mgnz Group's story

Adèle is a member of the ICYIZERE CY'EJO HEZA/MGNZ group. She is 50 years old, married, and has seven children. Her eldest child is 28 years old and her youngest is 10. Four of her children attend school and she does not have any other person in her care. She was born in Rwanda, and attended school until the second to last year of primary school.

Adèle is in her first loan cycle with ACB Ltd, who she began working with in 2012. Since she grows rice, she is seeking a loan that will help her to buy chemical fertilizer for her rice and to pay the workers who cultivate her fields.

She does not foresee any problems in paying back her loan. Adèle's strategy is to seek additional loans to expand her business. Doing so will allow her to become the top rice grower in the region, and will allow her to pay for the education of her children.
