A loan of $525 helped buy sand, cement and gravel to repair her house.

Petrona's story

Petrona, 44, is married and has 4 children. She lives in her own house located in the village of San Lorenzo in the south of Honduras.
Petrona sells seafood, like fish, shrimp, vegetables and salt. She is requesting this loan to buy sand, cement and gravel because the back part of her house is a little deteriorated; she will use the loan to improve her quality of life as the house is one of the most important assets her family has.
Petrona’s business has her selling her products from her car, with the help of her husband, in places like Nacaome and its surroundings. This loan will have a great impact on her life as her house is her family’s shelter.
Petrona dreams that her business provides her with enough income to make her house bigger and more beautiful so her family can enjoy it.
