A loan of $375 helped to buy food for her sheep and birds.

Pascuala's story

Pascuala is a 49-year-old woman. She is married with one dependent child. She lives in her own house with her husband and child. This house is located in the Leoncio Prado neighborhood, in the Tambogrande district. She lives in the rural part of this district and it doesn’t have basic services.
Pascuala raises sheep and domestic birds. When they reach a certain weight and size she sells them in the local market. Her husband is a farmer with his own land where he grows mangos and rice. He sells the products he harvests and the money he uses to pay for his loans and the household expenses.
The loan that she is requesting, 1,000 new soles, she will use to buy balanced food for her sheep and domestic birds.
