A loan of $750 helped to buy fertilizer for his crops and to buy balanced food for his cattle.

Martin's story

Martin is a 33-year-old man. He is single and doesn’t have dependent children. He lives with his father, in the “Hualtaco II” neighborhood in the “Tambogrande” district. He lives in a rural part of this district, but there is electricity there.
Martin’s primary job is raising animals. He complements this job with agriculture. He has been doing this work for the past six years. He has a half hectacre of agricultural land where he grows lemons. He inherited this land from his father. Also Martin earns additional income as a guard for the people at “CPMe Cruceta”.
He is requesting a loan for 2,000 new soles, which he will use to buy fertilizer so that he has a better crop of lemons. He also will buy food to be used to fatten his cattle. He will then get a better price for his cattle and be able to continue growing his business, which will help him improve the quality of his life.
