A loan of $1,800 helped to buy some piglets and fodder for her farm animals.

Elmira's story

Elmira and her family are engaged in farming. They breed cows, pigs, and chickens, and they grow grapes, potatoes, onions, garlic, raspberries, haricots, and other crops. Because the volume they produce is not so big, Elmira uses most of their output to support her family. She usually sells only milk and grapes. Sometimes she sells some pork before the New Year holidays when the demand for meat is very high. Elmira is 43 years old. She lives in Sevkar village, in the Tavuch area. She lives with her husband, her parents-in-law who are pensioners, and two young daughters. In addition to farming, Elmira works at a gas service office as an inspector. This is Elmira’s third loan from Nor Horizon. She is requesting a 700,000 AMD loan to buy some piglets and fodder for her farm animals. Elmira always makes her scheduled loan repayments.
