Mira's story

Mira is 51 years old, a widow and raised five children. In search of a source of income for her family, she became involved in animal husbandry in 1995, starting this business with an initial amount of 15,000 som (KGS). Today Mira's business contains two dairy cows, three bulls, five sheep and one horse. The earnings from sales of milk and meat products amount to about 6,000 som (KGS) per month. In order to further develop her business, Mira requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to purchase additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the earnings into expanding her business further.
