Tropia Group's story

Simon is in his late 20s and is married with three children, one of whom goes to school. Simon has been selling chips for two and a half years now. He works from 8.00 am to midnight daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be his first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He wants to use the loan to start selling traditional chicken. His dream is to one day be able to own a shop for spare car parts.

He will share this loan with his "Tropia" loan group, which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
