A loan of $225 helped to buy bananas, apples, potatoes, and onions.

Teresa De Jesus's story

Teresa lives with her husband and one son. She sells fruits and vegetables for a living. She learned to do this along with her husband; he left the business to her because he got a job at the mayor's office and he is also a sailor. The business has been in existence for 15 years.

She is currently asking for a loan to buy fresh produce, such as bananas, apples, potatoes, and onions, to stock her business, have what she needs for sales, and meet her customers' needs.

Teresa's goal is to add other produce to her business, to expand her selling space, to improve the appliances in her home little by little as her business advances, and to improve her earnings.
