A loan of $475 helped to buy cell phone cases, chargers, a telephone display case, and cell phone plans.

Italo's story

Ítalo is 32, and lives south of the city, where he repairs and maintains cell phones and also sells accessories for these products. When he began his business, Ítalo did so selling chargers and batteries only. But he took a course in cell phone repair and maintenance and added this service; understanding that it is closely associated with his market, and that he did it previously, but very poorly.

By supplementing his work experience with training, he succeeded in perfecting his skill seven years ago; so things have gone very well, because besides succeeding in being independent, he has earned income to support himself and his family.

Currently his customers are asking him to add the sale of cell phone minutes. Also, his turnover of products is rapid, so he must have an inventory of them to be able to respond to his buyers in a timely way. This is precisely the reason why he is applying for his credikiva loan, his first from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo.

With the loan he will buy cell phone cases, chargers, a telephone display case, and cell phone plans, so that he can respond to the requests of his customers. This is why the investment would assure his success.
