A loan of $1,050 helped to purchase fertilizer and herbicides, as well as to cover rent payments and land preparation costs.

Maria Cordelia's story

Maria is a housewife who lives with her children. She has a farm that she runs with her children. They cultivate corn, chili peppers, beans, and sesame. She learned from her husband, but now only farms with her children.
She is requesting a loan to purchase cultivation supplies, fertilizer, and herbicides, as well as to cover rent payments and the cost of land preparation where she will cultivate her crops. This loan will help her to have everything she needs for the crops.
Maria’s goal is continue raising crops with the help of her children, which will assure that they all will have food to eat. Additionally, in the future she wants to improve her living facilities.
