A loan of $1,325 helped to buy general groceries.

Maria Auxiliadora's story

María Auxiliadora is 38 years old and married with five children. Her husband is a farmer and they live together in Comunidad de Las Vegas de Veracruz, in the municipality of Trojes.

María Auxiliadora's first business was selling second-hand clothing, but for six years she has been operationg a general grocery store out of her home. She works daily at her business from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her major advantage is that her house is on a busy street, so her sales are good.

María Auxiliadora is asking for this loan in order to stock her grocery store with more and varied products such as dairy products, meats, vegetables, bread, pasta, sauces, condiments, refreshments, cookies, churros (baked goods, with similar ingredients to donuts); as well as other domestic products such as brooms, mop heads, bleach, Azistin (a brand of household cleaner), Ace (Proctor & Gamble's Latin American version of Tide), and soap.

Her dream is to increase her business' inventory as well as expand its facilities. This is her first loan through FAMA and she hopes to complete her payments on time.
