Afessi's story

Afessi is a 38-year old woman, who is married to a pastor and has four children in her care. She has been selling general groceries (rice, vegetable oil, sugar, detergents) since 2010, gets her supplies in Lomé and serves her customers in a shop. Afessi has requested her first loan from WAGES so that she can buy more stock. Her wish is to become a wholesaler and be able to take better care of her family.
