A loan of $1,325 helped to purchase tools and a chain for his chainsaw.

Felix's story

Felix is 55 years old and is married to Julia who is 48. This great love has produced 4 children. They live in their own home located in the community of Vista Alegre in the district of Pichari.

Felix is a hardworking man who is very accomplished with household projects. He works in logging and also in agriculture. He sells the wood he fells in blocks to carpenter’s workshops. As it is now difficult to find wood in the valley, he must go into the forest to find good wood. This takes more or less one or two weeks. After it is cut down, the wood is transported on the shoulders of workers to the highway and then is transported with special cargo vehicles and sold.

Felix is happy with the work that he does, and as he fells so many trees, he also has the obligation to plant new ones so as to replace the trees and contribute to the environment. In the future he is thinking about buying a new chainsaw. This is his third loan from Microfinanzas Prisma and he promises to make his payments on time. With the 3,500 nuevos soles he will buy tools and a chain for his chainsaw.
