Confiance Group's story

The group CONFIANCE comprises three persons who reside in the same district. This is the third time this group has requested financial aid from ALIDé to boost their business.

The group's representative, Patricia Josette, is the one in the photo with her hand raised. She is 40 years old and married to a man named Epiphane. Patricia Josette halted her studies in primary school. The couple have three children, all in school and in their care. Patricia Josette lives together with her husband and children. The couple share in covering the different household expenses.

To help meet the different needs of the family, Patricia Josette has been selling hair extensions, cosmetics, and liquor in her district for eight years. Secondarily, she sells shoes and cloth. This business enables her to support herself without much trouble. She gets her supplies from Benin and from Lomé.

Seeking to satisfy her customers and to increase her sales and her revenues, Patricia Josette, along with the other members of the group CONFIANCE, is requesting a third loan from ALIDé. The first two loans were indeed repaid.
