Lamara's story

Lamara has been involved in agriculture for 20 years. She breeds cattle, sheep, and keeps bees and chickens in the Shishkert village. She also grows vegetables and fruits. Lamara sells the agricultural products, such as beef, lamb, milk, honey, eggs, wool, vegetables and fruits, obtained from her farm, to stores in the city of Kapan and, thus, supports her family.
Lamara is 49 years old and lives in the Shishkert village of the Syunik region. She graduated from a nutrition college, but was unable to get a job because she got married and had three children. Lamara's husband works as a machinist at a hydropower station and helps Lamara to run the agricultural business in his free time.
Lamara needs a loan in the amount of 1,000,000 dram to purchase several piglets for her farm, several new beehives, and frames for honey and wax. Lamara also intends to purchase a new variety of potato for sowing.
