A loan of $2,025 helped a member to buy another buffalo for her dairy business.

Zubaida's Group's story

Zubaida is the mother of six children. Three of them work, while the other three are very young in age and remain at home.

She is 50 years of age and supports her family by operating a milk sales business. Her work is home-based. She has a buffalo and sells its milk to her community clients to earn an income for her family.

Her husband works in the vegetable market with his three sons.

Zubaida has applied for a loan from Kiva partner, Asasah, for further improvement of her dairy business. With the loan investment, she will buy another buffalo for her dairy business. This will help her to get a larger quantity of milk for selling to her clients and will increase her sales and income.

She is confident about her business success as a result of the loan investment.
