A loan of $750 helped aDDING STOCK OF CLOTHES.

Salum's story

Salum is married with two children. He lives in Vituka area of Dar es Salaam where he owns a small shop in Tandika market in which he sells new imported clothes. He has been in this business for more than six years. He had training in entrepreneurship and small business management offered by Youth Self Employment (YOSEFO). To meet the rising demand for his clothing, he is planning to open another shop adjacent of the current one. The current shop has a small displaying surface, making it difficult to display all samples of clothes in stock. The new shop will help him keep enough stock of clothes so that he will no longer go out of stock on a frequent basis and add the display surface he needs.
