A loan of $650 helped to buy spices like annatto, mustard, and chia, cooking wine, tomato sauce, fruits and vegetables.

Ramona Del Rosario's story

Ramona del Rosario, a native of Leon, is a single mother with two children. Her business is the result of an inheritance from her grandmother. She started with about C$3,000 cordobas.

She buys products in the La Terminal market and later moves them to her stall in the Central Market in Leon. She will use the loan from CEPRODEL to buy products in bulk like: spices of all kinds, including annatto, mustard and chia; cooking wine; tomato sauce, fruits and vegetables, etc.

Romona del Rosario is incredibly grateful to CEPRODEL for the loans they have given her, which have been a great blessing. With them she has been able to help her kids get ahead and improve her family's quality of life.
