A loan helped a member to buy slippers, sequins, pearls, thread and other inputs.

San Francisco Group's story

Fifteen women from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso have joined up with a desire to work together and, through their work, help one another. They are all friends and neighbors who saw that the Fundacion Paraguaya program would be a great help to them and their families.

Geronima is one of the members. She tells us that she embroiders all kinds of slippers. She says it's going well because the embroidered shoes are selling well lately. Her goal is to keep working and continue helping her family.

She asks for a loan to buy slippers, sequins, pearls, thread and other inputs to keep making the slippers that she sells. She is grateful for the opportunity from Kiva and Fundacion Paraguaya.
