A loan of $2,375 helped a member to purchase plastics to sell.

Mujeres Unidas De Lambaré Group's story

The communal bank "Lambaré Women United" is currently in its second cycle of the Fundacion Paraguaya's Women Entrepreneurs program. The group consists of 14 members from the area of Asunción. The members always try their best to help their families and give them what they need every day.

Lilian is part of the group and says that she has a recycling business, recycling cartons, plastic, iron and other items. She walks the streets looking for plastic and cardboard, a job which she describes as extremely demanding. She is very proud of what she does, since it is a worthy job and above all very honest.

Lilian is requesting a loan to purchase plastics, which she will resell at a profit margin, which will help her to continue working and help her family. She does not want her family to be in any kind of need, which is why she always tries her hardest.
