A loan of $1,175 helped a member to buy clothing to sell.

La Esperanza Group's story

This communal bank, La Esperanze (The Hope), is from the city of San Lorenzo. The members of the bank are very hard-working people and have great eagerness to progress and succeed. Their goal is to improve the conditions of their families and help them to have a better way of life.

Señora Juliana is one of the members. She sells clothing of all types. She comments that she has good sales, since thanks to the good quality of her clothing, she already has a well-defined clientele who always buy from her. Her goal is to continue working and in this way help her family. She is applying for the loan to purchase clothing, with which she will be able to offer greater variety to her customers and at the same time attract more.
