A loan of $1,000 helped to start new agricultural business.

Abass's story

Abass is a 22-year-old single man who has been working as a barber since 2003. Two years ago he opened his own barber shop and it was a good step forward for proving for himself and improving his living.

Abass is planning to start an agricultural business that has to do with olives and olive oil, so he needs to buy olive trees. It is for this reason that he has applied for a youth loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua. The loan will provide the necessary capital to start this business.

He hopes to expand both businesses as much as he can to improve both social and financial situations.
