A loan of $375 helped to purchase more guinea pigs and alfalfa.

Walter's story

Walter is a 30 year old hard-working man. He lives with his mother Martha and his two brothers, who he takes care of in his own house located in the town of San Lorenzo. Ever since his father passed away 22 years ago, Walter knew that his life would center on the care of his family, mother, and brothers. Because of this he remains single, and he has always been responsible for their needs.

Walter's primary means of income comes from the public transportation he provides with his motorcar. This helps him to have a daily income. His route centers on the entrance of his annex and the city, but as he says, he also goes to various annexes if requested. "Anything goes to be able to have better earnings at the end of the day," he comments.

It is with this mindset that Walter also cares for his animals, including pigs, sheep, and guinea pigs. He has already been doing this for 4 years and his secret focuses on the feeding, since he himself plants the grass to feed his animals.

Walter belongs to the group "Fuerza San Lorenzo" and this is his first loan. He is happy because he has the capital necessary to improve his business and thus his quality of life. In addition, he likes to belong to the association because its members are caring and hard-working. Upon receiving the support, Walter will invest the requested money in the purchase of more guinea pigs and alfalfa for their feeding.
