A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fabric to make curtains.

Margot's story

Margot has a shop where she sews and sells curtains made to order for her customers. Her clients include both institutions and individuals. She learned how to sew while growing up and has been making curtains for about 16 years now. She is 40 years old and is raising two children, 14 and 18 years old, with her partner.

Margot would like a loan in order to purchase fabric and other materials to produce curtains. Her dream is to own a curtain factory and sell her products at wholesale.

Margot is a member of the village bank Los Diamantes in Cusco, which is receiving its 16th loan.
