A loan of $1,500 helped to pay for pigs.

Vigen's story

Vigen is 36 years old. He lives in the village of Akunk with his wife, parents, and two children. Vigen's parents are both pensioners, and his wife is a housewife. The main source of income for the family is agriculture. For five years now, Vigen has been running a farm, where he breeds cows and calves.

Vigen wants to move into other fields of livestock breeding, too, to make the farm more profitable. In particular, Vigen wants to purchase pigs and develop a pig breeding business. This will allow him to increase his income and insure economic stability for his family.
