Dụ is 76 years old. She is married and has three children. Dụ lives with two dependents in Thanh Hoa city, a urban town in Thanh Hoa province.

Dụ has a retail business selling dry food. Dụ has been involved in this business for more than 10 years. The main hardship that Dụ faces in her business is the lack of capital.

She is requesting a loan to purchase maize, sweet potatoes and peanuts for resale. With her business profit, Dụ hopes for her business to do well, to remodel her house, and to travel for vacation within the country.

Dụ is the group leader of the 08.02.02- Đông Vệ solidarity group, which consists of five members.

In 2010, Dụ joined Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women to improve her business. Dụ has successfully repaid three loans from Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women.
