Savoeurn, 41, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampong chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for over three years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns approximately USD 2 per day. Two her children are employed; one is a garment worker and another one is a construction worker. They earn approximately USD 7 per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Savoeurn is requesting a loan of USD 700 to purchase cattle to use in her farming work. In the future, she would like to rebuild her present house. She would like to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for her family and to help her children get bachelor’s degrees.
