Fidelia's story

Fidelia is 61 years old. She has three children and always has been a single mother. Since the age of 15, she has worked in the capital of the country as a domestic employee for more than twenty years to provide all that is necessary to her parents. During that time, she learned how to manage her money and, with time, she ordered the building of her own adobe house.

Although some years ago she suffered an accident and fractured her foot, she has always fought and to contribute to her family, she started a store selling basic necessity products. She made orders with her suppliers and they made deliveries to her house on Saturdays and, in this way, she stocked her store.

Fidelia is requesting a loan from Fundacion Campo to purchase more products and to stock the store to offer more to her customers. Obtaining income for the family allows her to improve her quality of life and that of her children and grandchildren since the business is profitable. She wishes to improve her store continuously, repair her house and help her grandchildren with their education.
