San Jose Group's story

San Jose is the group formed in the city of Santaní, made up of 12 women, all of them friends and residents of that city. They are very hardworking and enterprising women, who always put out their maximum effort in order to give their families always the best. They wish to achieve the highest level of the program and that is why they work so hard. Ambrosia is one of the members of this group. She earns a living as a street vendor, that is, she sells sheets, blankets, duvets/ comforters, bedspreads and other items in ambulatory fashion. She comments that her work is very demanding, since she must travel through the streets in order to be able to sell the products she has, whether it's hot or cold out. She is seeking the loan in order to purchase sheets, duvets/ comforters, bedspreads and other items, with which she will be able to supply her business and thus be able to have more products to offer her customers.
