Levi's story

Levi is a 50-year-old businessman who lives in Juba Yei. He is married with 8 children between the ages of 4 and 19. All of them go to school.

Levi runs a food store business, and he has been in the business for 6 years. He has 1 employee. Levi heard about Finance South Sudan from the loan officer’s promotion done in the market, as well as through the radio advertisement. He is taking a loan of 1,500 SDG to purchase more items like sugar, biscuits, water, and rice. In addition to this business, Levi has houses for rent as another source of income.

In 5 years' time, Levi would like for a better set-up of the business in the same market. His major challenges include low income and daily differences from buying from the whole sellers.
