Leap, 37, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been working as a chef for over two years, earning approximately $5 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns approximately $5 per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Leap wants to run an additional business to generate more income to support the family. Therefore, Leap is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase groceries to sell from home. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it much stronger to provide convenient living conditions for the family.
