A loan of $1,050 helped to buy clothes.

Gladys Sandra's story

Gladys, age 38, sells clothes as a street vendor in the city of Ica. She completed her education, and she wanted to study to become an administrative assistant. Unfortunately, her parents did not have the income that was needed to cover her higher educational expenses.

She currently works an average of five hours a day walking and traveling to the areas neighboring where she lives. She sells clothes as much for adults as for children. That is the reason that she has gotten more customers in the past few months.

Gladys really wants to be able to buy new clothes. This way her customers will have more choices, and they will feel satisfied with the purchases they make. She knows that this will allow her income to increase. Then she will manage to have the store she wishes for so much in a place near the city. At the same time she will fulfill her big dream of having a boutique in her house.
