Miguel Angel's story

Miguel and his wife have two young children. Every night his wife sells sandwiches and hamburgers at the door to his house. This small family currently lives in the city of Ica, Perú. This place is known for its growth of commercial stores and the economic development that is reflected in its inhabitants.

Miguel makes wooden doors and windows. These products are ordered on the average of three times a week. Therefore, Miguel works an average of nine hours a day. He waits on his customers, and he makes the requested products. It was thanks to his father that he learned about the business. He is very grateful for the effort his father put into teaching him.

Miguel is well-known for his work because his customers are always satisfied with the results.

With help from the Kiva lenders he will be able to perform maintenance on his machines and buy an electric planer. This will allow him to have an additional tool to use when working with wood. He will offer a new service, and this way his business will be able to grow. This will allow him to have a branch in the Parcona district, Ica, Perú.
