Merlin Noel's story

Merlin is a hardworking young man and has a business of selling soft drinks, natural juices, and bread. For the past four years he has lived with his wife and son in Choluteca, which is in southern Honduras.

Merlin sells juices and soft drinks to various farming businesses in the southern part of Honduras. His business has high demand since the weather in the area is very warm. Merlin conducts his sales at home and by traveling many kilometers by bicycle to visit his customers. The loan he is requesting will be used to buy bread, sugar, and fruits such as tamarind, oranges, blackberries, lemons, and other seasonal produce.

Merlin hopes to grow his business and satisfy the needs of his customers. By offering more variety, he expects to attract many more customers. His dream is to buy a vehicle so that he can travel to more distant locations. He also hopes to give his son a better way of life.
