A loan of $925 helped to purchase goods for selling (peanuts, fish, rice, oil, flour, etc.).

Ana's story

She was born in the town of Matola, province of Maputo, southern Mozambique. She's married and has seven adult children. She never had the opportunity to go to school because her parents lacked financial conditions. She lives with her family in a house she owns and also supports four grandchildren who live with her.
She has been a businesswoman for over seven years and her husband is a pensioner. She buys and sells various products and earns an income of about 6.500mt. She uses it to pay for home expenses and also saves part of it in her bank account.
She has had a loan with TCHUMA and has repaid it without difficulties. She first heard of Hluvuku through a friend who is also a client of this institution. This is her 7th loan with Hluvuku. It is for 25.000mt, which she intends to use to purchase goods (peanuts, fish, rice, oil, flour, etc.) in order to increase the quantity of her merchandise. The previous loans were for 6.000mt, 6.600mt, 10.000mt, 13.000mt, 21.000mt and 22.000mt, for her business.
She pledges to make her repayments as scheduled. In the future she intends to expand her business in order to meet her customers' needs. For that purpose she plans to request more loans from Hluvuku.
