Ahmad, lives at Batu Ampar-Singaraja, North of Bali. He has one 3-year-old son and his wife is a housewife. Ahmad works as a fisherman. He goes to the sea three times a week. To support his business, he rents a boat.
Ahmad has a dream to have a boat of his own. To make it come true, he is taking out a loan from MUK. The loan use to purchase a boat for 5M IDR, a boat engine 2,5M IDR and 10 nets @ 450.000 IDR. And he is borrowing 10M IDR.
Ahmad sells various kinds of fish. Per kg the fish price is 15.000 IDR and Ahmad gets 30 – 50 kg of fish if the weather is good. He hopes he can develop his business because now he has all the equipment by himself.
