A loan of $400 helped to purchase merchandise such as fruit, vegetables, sodas, and bread.

Esneida Francisca's story

Esneida is 26 years old and has one son. She works in commerce and is from Chinandega. She works selling fruit, vegetables, soft drinks, water, soda, and bread. She has worked for 7 years at this business. Her small food stall is humble; it doesn't have shelves or a display window, much less a roof. She protects herself from the sun with a fabric or plastic tarp. However, this doesn't stop her from earning her living honorably. Each morning, she manages to set up her stall and place her products in wicker baskets with the hope that each day will go better for her. She started her business with her own capital and financial help from her husband. Esneida is requesting this loan to purchase merchandise such as fruit, vegetables, soft drinks, and bread. Her goal is to continue with the business and provide the best opportunities for her son that she is able.
