Maria Micaela

A loan of $300 helped to purchase piglets to fatten and breed.

Maria Micaela's story

María is a 36 year-old woman who describes herself as a person of character who enjoys working for her children. María lives with her children and her mother about 20 minutes from Ibarra in the Imbabura Province.

María works in agriculture and raising animals. She is able to do these tasks thanks to the teaching of her parents and this helps her to keep up with the household expenses since this is the only income she has. It is for this reason that she is requesting her sixth loan from Fodemi. Due to the need to increase her animal raising business, she is going to purchase piglets to fatten and breed, so that she obtains a better income.

María dreams of being a major distributor of pigs.
