A loan of $800 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Concepción De Lourdes's story

Concepción, 35, is married; her husband lives in the United States. She has three children who are 14, 10 and 2 years old. She lives in a village in Peña Blanca, Cortes.

Concepción has a grocery store. She opened it four years ago aiming at having an additional source of income for her home and to be able to improve herself. She’s managed to stay in business thanks to her good administration and with help from her husband who sends her money from abroad. She sells food items like eggs, lard, beans, sugar, flour, milk, soft-drinks and grocery items like soap, disinfectant, toothpaste and toilet paper, among others. She works full-time in her store to take care of customers.

She is currently asking for a 15000 lempira loan to buy grocery items like toilet paper, laundry detergent and bath soap, disinfectant, toothpaste, etc. to have more variety of products available for customers so that the business will grow with more customers. Her plan for the future is to expand the business more and to continue working to provide her children with a better future.
