Nelson Efrain's story

Nelson, 28, lives in a neighborhood located in a rural village in Peña Blanca, Cortes. He’s married and his wife’s a merchant. He has two children who are 11 and 4 years old.

Nelson supports his family with his grocery store sales. He started the business with a little money he had saved. He sells basic staple items in his grocery store like milk, meat, eggs, rice, beans and mobile phone recharges. He does very well in his business; he keeps it well-stocked so his income is considerable. Nelson works all day to provide good customer service.

With the current 25000 lempira loan Nelson is going to increase inventory stocking up on flour, rice, lard, beans and other foodstuffs. He hopes to grow and improve more to give his family a more comfortable life. His children’s education is very important to him and he hopes to give them the best education possible.
