He was born in the district of Namaacha, province of Maputo, southern Mozambique. He's married and has four children, all of which attend school. He completed 10th grade and stopped because his parents lacked financial conditions. He lives with his family in a house he owns and does not support anyone else.
He has been a community health worker for over 9 years and a businessman for over 4 years. He sells various products. He earns a salary of 2.500mt and profits of about 3.000mt. He uses it to pay for home expenses and also saves part of it in his bank account.
He has never had loans with other banks. He first heard of Hluvuku through a friend who is also a client of this institution. This is his first loan with Hluvuku. It is for 12.000mt, which he intends to use to purchase goods such as beans, refreshments, rice, oil, flour, etc., in order to increase the quantity of his merchandise.
He pledges to make his repayments as scheduled. In the future he intends to expand his business and to raise poultry. For that purpose he plans to request other loans from Hluvuku.
