Danson's story

Danson is thirty-eight years old, married, with three children. He sells household goods to earn a living. He has been in the business for fourteen years and employs one person. To earn extra income he transports goods with his hand cart. He describes his customers as low income earners because they live in slums. Since he joined Faulu Kenya, he has been able to grow his business and hopes to be financially stable in the future. He has applied for a loan of 90,000 Kenya Shillings to buy plastic basins, padlocks, cups and plates to sell.
